Information for Using Cameras During FEI Events
At some FEI events, it is necessary to submit an application in advance for the use of a camera. Our cameras comply with all FEI requirements. Below you will find the form that you can fill out and submit.
FEI APPLICATION FOR CCTV SYSTEM
Once we have more clarity about the exact regulations, we will post this information on this page. The majority of events approve the camera without needing to submit a form in advance. The Olympic Games, for example, do have this requirement.
Below are the rules found in the FEI regulations:
Application form: Athletes and/or NFs are permitted to install and use their own camera monitoring systems within the FEI Stables Area for the sole purpose of monitoring their Horse(s), provided a written/email approval has been granted by the FEI. Any such use of camera monitoring systems must comply with the FEI’s protocol.
The statement means that athletes and/or National Federations (NFs) are allowed to install and use their own camera monitoring systems within the FEI Stables Area, exclusively for monitoring their own horse(s). To do so, they must obtain written or email approval from the FEI. Additionally, any use of these camera monitoring systems must comply with the FEI’s protocol.
In summary:
- Athletes and NFs are permitted to use their own camera systems.
- Approval from the FEI is required before installation and use.
- The systems can only be used to monitor the athletes' or NFs' own horses.
- The use of these systems must adhere to the specific rules and guidelines of the FEI.
